Immigration...
On November 2014, President Barack Obama signed executive actions which would have allowed many parents of U.S. Citizens and Legal Residents to apply for a work permit. This is known as DAPA (Deferred Action for Parents of Americans). This program was anxiously awaited by undocumented individuals; however, currently, the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services ( USCIS) is not accepting applications. This is because a federal district court in Texas filed an order that temporarily prevents the program from going forward. We will diligently monitor any updates on this issue.
